I just find it kind of irritating that people constantly scapegoat Hades as being evil. He's the God of the Dead, not the God of Death. The God of Death is Thanatos, and even then, Thanatos isn't evil. He doesn't even control when people die, he just makes them dead, he doesn't have a say in it. The real villain here is Atropos, the eldest of the three Moirae. She cuts the threads of life for those whose time has come. Whenever Atropos cuts a thread, Thanatos is forced to end a life, and he usually doesn't even get credit for it. Then Hades is stuck looking after the poor bastard that died suddenly by falling into a sinkhole because Atropos got bored, and then he's scapegoated as the bad guy because most people don't know about Thanatos and Atropos. Hades deserves more recognition and respect.
